Hello, I'm Kathryn. I'm a graphic designer living and working in Dublin. I graduated in 2003 with a first class honours degree from Central Saint Martins, London. Since then I’ve worked as a graphic designer in agencies in both London and Dublin - including Creative Inc, The Brand Union and Slater. I'm currently Creative Director at Slater Design where I work on projects involving strategy, brand identity, packaging, print and web design, as well as overseeing the overall creative output of the studio.

I like projects that involve solving problems or telling stories and I've done both for a diverse range of clients including Saba, Saba To Go, Rachel Khoo, Donnelly, Dublin City Council, UCD, Glaxo Smith Kline, Ferrero Rocher, Electric Ireland, Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud, Ness, Lucy Annabella Organics, Keenan Seafood and 21 Spaces. I like to design but I also like to write, both as part of the projects I work on but also about design.

I'm an ICAD Past President (2015-16) and I've previously served on the ICAD board, have acted as a design judge, mentor and I've taken part in discussion panels. To see a list of my published work and awards please visit my Linkedin profile or say hello at kathrynatno9@gmail.com.

It’s #internationalwomensday and we’ve made great strides but so much more to do. Today it’s predicted that it’ll be 217 years until women reach parity. That’s frankly ridiculous, there shouldn’t be three more generations of my family and yours before our female descendants reach equal status.

Today woman are paid less than their male counterparts which works out that they effectively get paid the same rate until 15th November at which point they may as well shut up shop for the rest of the year.

Let’s call BS on this. In 2018 we should expect to see this in our own lifetime #internationalwomensday #pressforprogress
Really proud to have some new projects on the @100archive alongside a lot of lovely work that has recently been added. The ‘Projects’ page is well worth a look and lots of great articles up there too #irishdesign #graphicdesign #ireland
Two weeks into a new job as Design Lead at Guinness and Baileys and it’s still pretty amazing going to work in this building every day. The @guinnessstorehouse was designed by A. H. Hignett (a Guinness engineer) and built around 1905. The building was constructed for the fermentation and storing of our famous stout. Back in 1997 Guinness decided to restore the, by then, redundant building as a visitor attraction. Dublin based architectural practice RKD Architects created an incredible transformation of the building with the atrium created in the shape of the famous Guinness pint glass. @imaginationlabs creative agency worked to create the brand experience within.
